Where it all began.

It was 2012 and Hidden Treasures was born at the open air market in York’s city centre. Summer was busy and generally warm but the winter days took their toll. Unloading, setting up and standing in the cold for hours wasn’t great! I moved on from this stage of the business and started travelling around the country with rocks in the back of my van. County shows and mind, body, spirit events gave me the chance to expand my wears (and be warm!). When the world stopped due to Covid, I decided to plan a bricks and mortar shop and in 2021 Hidden Treasures in George Hudson Street was born. An excellent decision! Since then the shop has expanded given me the chance to display so many beautiful and unique crystals and minerals. The next stage will be to extend into the basement and create a tarot studio and a healing space for sound baths and different therapists to hire. Exciting plans, watch this space!
